Infinix Smartphone: Infinix has finally launched its new midrange smartphone series. The name of this series is Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G. Under this series, the company has launched two smartphones in India, named Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G and Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus 5G.
Infinix has launched both these phones in the global market for $289 and $309 respectively. The company has given MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, 108MP back camera and 32MP front camera setup in both these phones. Let us tell you the details of these two phones.
Specifications of both phones
Display: This phone has a 6.78 inch Full HD Plus curved AMOLED display, which comes with 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Camera:
- A triple camera setup with an LED light has been provided in the rear of both these phones.
- A 108MP main camera sensor is provided in the back panel, which comes with f/1.75 aperture and OIS support.
- The second back camera of both these phones comes with a 2MP macro lens, while the third camera also comes with a 2MP depth sensor.
- The back camera of both these phones supports 2K video recording.
Front Camera: This phone has a 32MP front camera for selfie and video calling, which comes with f/2.2 aperture.
Processor: Both these phones have a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset for the processor, which comes with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU for graphics.
Software: This phone runs on XOS 14 based on Android 14.
Battery:
- Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G has a 4500mAh battery, which comes with 100W fast charging support.
- Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G has a 5000mAh battery, which comes with 45W fast charging support.
- It has support for all-round FastCharge2.0 and 20W wireless MagCharge.
Audio: Both these phones are equipped with stereo speakers with JBL sound. It comes with Hi-res audio.
Other: It has IP53 dust and water resistant feature and fingerprint scanner. This phone comes in Black, Titan Gold and Vintage Green colors. The weight of the black phone is 196 grams and the weight of the other two colored phones is 190 grams.
Connectivity: Dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth and NFC support is provided in both these phones.

- The price of Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G is Rs 21,999. A variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available at this price.
- The price of Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G is Rs 24,999. A variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is available at this price.
- Both these phones have been made available for sale on Flipkart.
- A discount offer of Rs 2000 is being given to the users who buy this phone by paying through HDFC or SBI bank credit card.
- Apart from this, the company is giving free MagCase and MagPower worth Rs 4,999 with this phone as a launch offer. However, this offer is available only during the Early Bird Sale on 12th April i.e. today.
The most important thing about the phone
The most special thing about this phone is its battery and charging features. Infinix has introduced MagCharge Technology with this phone series, which is similar to Apple’s MagSafe technology. Actually, in common wireless charging technology, the phone has to be kept in a special charging stand. If the phone moves from the stand then charging stops, but this does not happen in Wireless MagCharge. In MagCharge technology, the phone is charged without wires by using magnetic field effect technology and there is no need to keep the phone stable on any stand or any place.
